When does Dukabot actually launch?
Q4 2026 for Nairobi, the founding cohort's opening quarter. Mombasa follows in Q1 2027, Kisumu in Q2 2027, and outward from there. Your county opens when we're confident it works there. No rushed rollouts.
Is my WhatsApp number safe with you?
Yes. Kept in Kenya, never sold, and we only WhatsApp you when we open your county. One message. That's the whole deal.
What if my county isn't first?
Your founding rate stays locked, even if Nairobi opens now and your county opens six months later. When Evo gets to you, the deal comes with it.
Do I have to pay after my three free months?
No. Drop to the Free tier anytime. You keep everything you've built. Or stay on your founding Starter rate at KSh 1,000/mo, forever. That's KSh 2,750 less than everyone else every single month.
How's this different from spreadsheets or my current setup?
No app to download. No spreadsheets. No training. You WhatsApp Evo ("sold 3 sodas na bread") and your stock, sales, deni book, and dashboard update themselves. If you can chat, you can run your duka.
What about M-Pesa and IntaSend, do you touch my money?
Never. Customers pay by M-Pesa STK Push straight into your Dukabot wallet (secured by IntaSend). Cash out to your M-Pesa whenever you like. No till numbers needed for now. We just keep the books.
Does Evo speak Swahili? Sheng?
Habari yako? English, Swahili, Sheng, or however you mix them. Evo grew up in Nairobi. "Nimeuza soda tatu na bread" works. So does "sold 3 sodas + a loaf". So does whatever's in between.
